Frequently Asked Questions for Hair and Makeup

Hair and Makeup can seem to be a very complicated thing. There are plenty of questions out there which you feel you need the answer to. These questions below are those which Lucy is asked the most often by her clients.

Do you come to me, or do I come to you?

Either! Normally this depends on the type of booking you have in mind, but Lucy has space to host a 1-2-1 right up to a large group lesson booking. Alternatively, Lucy is always happy to travel to wherever you need her to be.

How far will you travel?

Lucy will travel anywhere in the world for your booking, but travel fees do apply. Travel fees will be communicated to you in advance of payment being required. Travel is charged at various rates depending upon distance required to travel. International travel is charged at cost price.

What products do you use?

Due to Lucy working as a freelance hair and makeup artist, she isn’t tied to any products. This means the right products will be used for each booking – whether that’s affordable, high quality, skin sensitive or natural. Lucy commonly uses products from leading UK retailer brands such as; MAC, Bobbi Brown, Urban Decay, Benefit among others.

How much notice do I need to provide for a booking?

Lucy is a very accommodating hair and makeup artist and has even accepted a special occasion booking just 15 minutes shy of when the client needed her. The sooner you get in touch with Lucy the better, as you can reserve the date of your booking, but Lucy loves to help a client in need – so get in touch regardless of how late it is and you may be surprised!

Can I get discount?

Yes. Lucy sometimes runs special offers – make sure you sign up to get special offers at the bottom of the page to ensure you get these. Lucy also offers a varying level of discount depending on how many services you choose and the number of people requiring these services. Get in touch to discuss your personal requirements.
